Been There, Burned the Map, Still Found a Way

Been There, Burned the Map, Still Found a Way

There is a particular kind of spiritual guidance I trust.

Not the kind that floats above real life pretending everything is sacred while ignoring the fact that you are tired, overstimulated, overthinking, and one minor inconvenience away from becoming a cryptid in your own kitchen.

I trust the kind that has lived a little.

The kind that has been through the dark, tripped over the same pattern more than once, asked for a sign and then got personally offended when the sign required accountability.

The kind that knows transformation is not always graceful.

Sometimes it is beautiful.
Sometimes it is brutal.
Sometimes it is sitting in your car realizing the version of you who kept surviving by being “fine” is no longer available for unpaid emotional labor.

Been there.
Done that.
Won the t-shirt.
Probably accidentally wore it to another lesson.

My Approach

My work is practical, but full of potential.

Grounded, but not boring.
Mystical, but not detached from reality.
Honest, but not cruel.
Supportive, but not here to tuck you back into the comfort zone and call it healing.

I believe in tarot, energy, intuition, symbolism, shadow work, spiritual timing, and the quiet intelligence of the body.

I also believe in common sense, boundaries, discernment, rest, water, snacks, and not turning every single inconvenience into a cosmic emergency.

Both can be true.

That is where my work lives.

In the both/and.

The dark and the lantern.
The mystical and the mundane.
The sacred and the deeply annoying.
The “this is meaningful” and the “okay, but what are we actually doing about it?”

I Am Not Here to Hand You a New Identity

This is not about becoming a copy of someone else’s spiritual path.

Not mine.
Not anyone’s.

Your way has to be yours.

I can hold the lantern.
I can read the pattern.
I can name what I see.
I can ask the question that makes your stomach drop a little because some part of you knows it landed.
I can offer tarot insight, mystical musings, journal prompts, shadow reflections, and practical guidance for the weird middle.

But I am not here to live your life for you.

The point is not to become dependent on my sight.

The point is to trust your own.

Your path may be guided by mine for a moment, but it is utterly and entirely yours.

That matters.

Comfort Zones Are Not Sacred Ground

I know “comfort zone” sounds cozy.

A blanket.
A candle.
A familiar little emotional prison with decent lighting.

But sometimes the comfort zone is only comfortable because it is known.

Not because it is good.
Not because it is healthy.
Not because it is where you are meant to stay.

Sometimes your comfort zone is just the old pattern with better branding.

And I am not going to pretend otherwise.

The best things in life do not always happen when you are comfortable. Sometimes they happen when the old version of you gets obliterated just enough for the truth to finally get some air.

Not destroyed.

Revealed.

There is a difference.

This work is not about chaos for the sake of chaos. It is about recognizing when the life, role, story, habit, relationship, belief, or version of self you are clinging to has become too small for what is trying to emerge.

And yes, that can be inconvenient.

The truth often is.

What You’ll Find Here

Otherworld & Veil is being built as a threshold library first.

A place to pause, reflect, question, breathe, laugh a little, get mildly called out by a tarot card, and notice what is asking to be seen.

Here you will find:

Journal prompts for the messy middle
Tarot insights that are mirrors, not cages
Shadow work without the spiritual performance
Chakra reflections for real life
Mystical musings with dirt under their nails
Practical ritual for actual humans
Gentle reminders that also occasionally come with teeth

This is not a “good vibes only” space.

Good vibes are welcome.
They are just not in charge.

Follow Along on Instagram

If this is your kind of spiritual work — grounded, mystical, honest, occasionally chaotic, and allergic to fake love-and-light performance — follow along on Instagram.

That is where I will share tarot insights, mystical musings, journal prompts, card reflections, shadow work thoughts, and the kind of spiritual truth that may arrive as a sentence you did not ask to be personally attacked by.

In a loving way.

Mostly.

Think of it as little lanterns for your feed.

A place to catch a prompt, a card meaning, a moment of clarity, a small truth, or a reminder that you are not the only one trying to become a more honest version of yourself while still being a deeply human person with snacks, flaws, and a nervous system.

The Point

I am not here to promise you that the path will be easy.

I am not here to tell you everything happens for a reason while you are actively standing in the debris.

I am not here to give you a prettier cage.

I am here to help you see the door.

The way forward will still be yours.
The choices will still be yours.
The becoming will still be yours.

But you do not have to stand in the dark pretending you are not looking for a light.

So start where you are.

Read what calls to you.
Follow the first weird little spark.
Question the pattern.
Trust the part of you that keeps whispering, “This is not it.”

And when the comfort zone starts cracking?

Good.

That might be the sound of the truth getting out.
